Dr. Ciro Randazzo is a fellowship-trained and Board-Certified Neurosurgeon and partner at IGEA Brain, Spine, Pain & Orthopedics. He is dual-trained in open neurosurgery and neuroendovascular treatments including minimally invasive aneurysm and spine procedures. His focus is equally balanced between cerebral aneurysms and stroke, spinal disorders, cranial and spinal tumor surgeries and neurosurgical trauma. He is also an expert in acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke treatment, including mechanical thrombectomy for acute stroke.
Prior to joining IGEA Brain, Spine, Pain & Orthopedics, Dr. Randazzo was Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. By combining his passion for practicing medicine and his entrepreneurial spirit, he spearheaded the establishment of a comprehensive neuroscience center at AtlantiCare for which he served as Division Director.
He completed his neuroendovascular fellowship in 2010 and his neurosurgery residency in 2009 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia. Dr. Randazzo received both his medical degree, as well as a Masters of Public Health, from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).
